Reusch Serie A III Goalkeeper Gloves
Full product specification in the words of Reusch, below
This glove is achieving more and more popularity – roll finger cut release from Reusch
Conditions: Dry / Damp, Soft Ground
The material used on the palm of the gloves is most suitable for playing on soft ground (i.e. grass and mud, rather than concrete or traditional astro turft).
It is also most suitable for good weather, or normal rainy days. For really badly rainy weather, a specialist wet weather palm might perform better.
Strap: Wrist bandage – wider full strap with textile
Reusch are famous for the amazingly high level of detail they include in all their products. The goalkeeper gloves wrist strap is a great example of this. The standard Reusch strap on the Magno range features a special area designed to leave room for printing your name on, as well as a really nice feature at the end of the strap which allows you to take the gloves off easily (which as all goalkeepers know – is not easy!)
‘Air Vent System’
Nobody likes sweaty gloves!
The Reusch ‘Air Vent System’ uses a light mesh fabric around the upper hand of the goalkeeper gloves – the fingers and the edge of the hands – that allows air to flow through the gloves and keeps the gloves fresh.
Air Vent isn’t really the ideal solution for cold and wet weather, for this reason. But for goalkeepers looking for lighter weight gloves, and for gloves for mild and warmer weather, the Reusch Air Vent System is a great feature.
Palm: ‘X1 Wet’ N Dry’
The Reusch X1 Wet N’ Dry foam is Reusch’s best ‘all-round’ professional foam. It performs really well in wet conditions as well as normal and dry conditions.
Reusch call the Wet N’ Dry palm their “all-weather” foam. It works in the wet, and it works in the dry. Hence, Wet N’ Dry!
As an all round foam, the Reusch X1 Wet N’ Dry doesn’t have always grip quite as well as the G1 or the M1 foams in normal conditions, and doesn’t grip quite as well as the Aqua Tech foam in really wet conditions. But overall, it performs the better than any other Reusch palm when tested against all of these conditions together.
So for goalkeepers looking for a professional level latex foam palm they can rely on whether the playing conditions are soaking wet, or clear and dry, the Reusch X1 Wet N’ Dry is a smart choice.
Special Surround Cut
Roll finger cut glove. A special cut, similar to the surround cut where the grip lining also surrounds the sides of the fingers. Guarantees 100% latex on the ball, even in extreme conditions.
Flex cuts on backhand
More flexibility at crucial points. Ergonomic cuts and elastic materials at the thumb joint give added flexibility, improved wearing comfort and better ventilation.
